Paul comes to the Invaders with an impressive resume’ of soccer experience. Paul has coached at the college level, as well as years of experience in the club soccer system. Paul has coached over 400 games accomplishing a winning percentage of over .700.
From 2001-2002 Paul was the Boy’s Head Coach of Zionsville High School in Zionsville, IN. Paul moved to Harvard University in Cambridge, MA where he was the Men’s Assistant Coach from 2003-2004. From 2004-2007, Paul was the Men’s Head Coach of Curry College in Milton, MA.
Paul has been the Boy’s Director of Coaching for three different soccer clubs, Zionsville Youth Soccer from 2001-2002, FC Greater Boston Bolts, from 2002-2007, and Carmel United Soccer Club from 2007-2008. From 2009-2010, Paul was a Head Coach at the Bloomington Cutters Soccer Club.
During these years, Paul has led teams to many championships, including Indiana State Champion 2002/2008, Massachusetts State Champions 2003-2005/2006(2), Regional Champion 2004-2006, National Medalist (bronze) 2004/2006 and has been awarded the Indianapolis Star Coach of the year in 2001, and HCC Coach of the year in 2001 and 2002.
Paul has coached or directed Youth Soccer Camps, including Coaching Group Leader for Duke University 2008-2010, Camp Director for Crimson Soccer Academy at Harvard University 2003-2007, Soccer Camp Director for the Ben Elo 16 Memorial Fund in Mooresville, IN 2009-2010. He has also been the Olympic Development Program, Coach, Indiana (2001-2002) and Massachusetts (2005-2006)
Paul received his Bachelor of Arts (honors) from Nottingham Trent University (England) and attended Independent Study (4.0) at Indiana University Bloomington. While in England Paul worked at Bourne Health and Fitness Club as a Personal Trainer from 1998-2000.
Paul has achieved advanced passes and holds National D, C and B licenses, as well as a National Youth Diploma.
