In the late 1990s, Mario developed the Indiana Invaders men’s PDL team, a minor league team which plays in the USL. Indiana Invaders of the United Soccer Leagues, Premier Development League opened their first season in 1998 based in South Bend, Indiana. Indiana Invaders last qualified for the PDL playoffs 2003
Indiana Invaders FC has been part of the United Soccer League for the past 10 years. Since its inception in 1998, the Indiana Invaders men’s team has sent players to Major League Soccer (MLS).
